On Friday, February 12, 2010 Mrs. Betty Gordy of Kitscoty passed away at the Lloydminster Hospital at the age of 74 years. She is loved and remembered by her children: Gloria Dianne Gordy of Vancouver, Sharilyn (Roger) Crichton of Kitscoty, Katherine (Daryl) Christie of Red Deer and Karen (Gordon) Edgelow of St. Albert; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; 3 sisters: Marlene (Bob), Noreen, and Shirley (Jim). She was predeceased by her husband Fred Gordy and her special friend Erwin Pechaner in 2009. A Service of Remembrance for Betty will be held at the Lloydminster Gospel Fellowship Church, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Friday, February 19, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Lyle Berg officiating. In keeping with her wishes she was cremated at Creech's Crematorium and her ashes will be interred in Marwayne Cemetery.
