On Saturday, April 16, 2022, Mrs. Thelma “Faye” Van Oers Papirny passed away at Wainwright Health Centre, Wainwright, Alberta at the age of 78 years.
Faye is survived by her loving family; her husband, Dave Papirny of Chauvin, Alberta; her children; Thalia (Denis) Zelmer of Spruce Grove, Alberta, Daram (Carla) Van Oers of Botha, Alberta, Mellina (Tony) Van Oers of Edgerton, Alberta, Lanita Van Oers of Peace River, Alberta, Kymo (Janet) Van Oers of Powell River, British Columbia; thirteen grandchildren, Rhys, Kale, Theron, Stefan, Davis, Denele, Craig, Tayla, Tamer, Jezlyn, Miki, Lenae, Adam; three great grandchildren, Landan, Deagan, Theodore; her siblings, Gordon (Stella) Schlagel, Stewart (Mary) Schlagel; Karen Brazzoni; sister in law, Sylvia Schlagel; nieces Christine Durant, Kimberly Schlagel, Corynne Schlagel; and nephew Denis Schlagel; as well as extended family and dear friends.
She is predeceased by her parents, Thelma& Bill Schlagel; brothers, Ryan and Doug Schlagel.
A funeral service for Faye will be conducted Saturday, June 25, 2022 from Creech’s Funeral Chapel Wainwright, Alberta at 1: 00 PM.
