On Wednesday, March 9, 2016 Alex Heimdal of Irma, Alberta passed away suddenly at the Viking Health Centre at the age of 3 years. Alex is survived by his loving family; his parents, Roy and Stacey Heimdal; one sister, Natalie; one brother, Nikolas; his grandparents, Don and Joanne Davis of Chauvin, Alberta, Jarle Heimdal and Evelyn Gullbrå (Kjetil Vassenden) of Norway; his great grandparents, Ron and Doreen MacDonald of Lloydminster, Alberta, Berit Heimdal of Norway, Eunice Gulbraa of Viking, Alberta; his aunts and uncles, Kent, Tiffany, Amanda, Keith, Bjørn, Dana, Gaute, Randi, Ole, Amalie, Karen, Ivan, Cooper; as well as his cousins, Kiley, Kalen, Josie, Loke, Lizbeth, Lucas, Linnea, Tobias; his surrogate grandparents, Harold and Gwyneth Gulbraa. A Funeral service for the late Alex Heimdal will be conducted on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 2:00 PM from the Irma School Auditorium with Pastor Wayne Neumiller officiating. Interment will follow at the Sharon Lutheran Cemetery. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Stollery Children's Hospital, S.T.A.R.S, or the Irma Fire Department.
